The location of “El Guindal” is extraordinary to get to know and enjoy the west of Asturias. There are many routes of different duration and spots where beaches and groves live together. “El Guindal” is very close to some typical fishing villages like Castropol, Ribadeo or Tapia de Casariego and to mountain sites like Oscos or Taramundi.

The tourist can visit Celtic sites like Cabo Blanco or Coaña, Palaces like the Palace of Fonfría, the Ethnographic Museum of Grandas de Salime or the Beekeeping House in Boal. Hermitages, sanctuaries and churches with a defined personality and a great variety of fairs and local festivities complete the varied cultural offer.

The golf course of Rapalcuarto, less than 600 meters away from El Guindal, offers the visitor the possibility to practise this sport. The Eo estuary is the ideal place to go canoeing, sailing and make routes by boat among other activities. Within a distance of 5 kilometers, you can find the following beaches: La Paloma, Peñarronda, Mixota, nudist beach, and Serantes about 2 kms away from the Apartments. All of them are renowned for their spectacular beauty and by surf lovers.
